A new update for the Smart Sign Out iPad app is now available in the App Store.
New features you’ll find on Version 1.1
Do Not Require Room #
You are no longer required to enter a room number for a patient. For example, a patient has been admitted to your service. The patient needs to be added to your patient list but doesn’t currently have a room assignment. The room number can now be added at a later time.
Sorting of Medications, Diagnoses, Tasks, and Notes
Re-ordering meds, diagnoses, tasks, and notes is as simple as dragging and dropping on the iPad app. Simply hold down on the field you want to move, drag and drop to its new location.
Medication Stop Date
Added a stop date medication field.
Added Fields for Attending, Intern, and PMD
New fields have been added to list the attending and intern responsible for the patient, as well as the patient’s primary medical doctor.
Specify Home or New Medication
You can now specify whether a medication is a new med given to a patient during the hospital stay, or if the medication is one they are taking at home.
Bug Fixes
- Fix for autocomplete fields
- Fix for sorting by room number
All of these changes are also available on the web version of the app.
